Andrew Brown is well known for his innovative approach to contemporary flameworking. Combining classic cold working techniques with nontraditional flameworking, he specializes in unique wearable art. Collectible marbles and paperweights with extensive cold working are among his most recent works.
Andrew graduated with a B.F.A. in illustration from the Savannah College of Art Design in 1998. He then moved to Albuquerque, NM, where he started his career making glass art.
Andrew's work is featured in galleries and exhibits around the world as well as in bead and glass art publications. Drawing his inspiration from nature and his surroundings, Andrew continues working to push and test the limits of what this medium has to offer.
